NYC Subways 2023 Wall Calendar
The 2023 version of this highly regarded (and collected) calendar! Since 1993 Newkirk Images has produced beautiful calendars featuring images of New York City's iconic subways. These calendars offers a visual history of New York City subways. This is the perfect calendar for every subway buff!
Special Note to say that this will be the last calendar from Newkirk Images. Our many thanks to Bill Mangahas for the past 30 years creating such a wonderful calendar! The museum is diving into their own collection and will be looking at how best to keep the tradition going next year.
12 x 9 inches; 12 color photographs, a different subway for each month.
|What's the Story||New York's first subway line opened in Manhattan on October 27, 1904 with 28 stations. The route traveled approximately nine miles from City Hall north to Grand Central Station, then west to Times Square and up the West Side to 145th Street. Today, the subway system has grown to 468 stations connecting neighborhoods across the city.|
