What's The Story

Bus #9098 was the first bus in New York City equipped with sliding windows. Manufactured by General Motors, Model TDH 5106 debuted in 1958 and introduced a two-tone green color scheme with a contrasting red stripe, which later became a standard for the era. They were the last order of “Old Look” style buses from General Motors to the New York City Transit Authority.
