What's The Story
| When the MetroCard was introduced, New Yorkers had to learn a new way to pay after decades of dropping tokens into turnstiles. To help make the change feel less intimidating, a proposed rollout campaign introduced Cardvaark, a “high-tech, yet lovable” aardvark mascot designed to sell riders on the new fare card. |
